Following a successful award to provide bespoke ?” design Trunnion ball valves for ENI, Oliver Valvetek has progressed well with the manufacture and supply of over 800 ball valves for the subsea project.

The order is destined for ENI’s Agogo discovery, a project operational since November 2014 and located approximately 180 km off the coast of Angola in water depths of 1650 metres.

Valves have successfully met with the client’s requirements for Qualification testing to API6A PR2 Appendix F and API17D 2nd Ed. Other critical requirements were Hydraulic Fluid cleanliness that met with SAE AS 4059 6BF, and components exposed to seawater for the requirements of DNVGL-RP-F112.

Unique customisation of the valves allowed for efficient integration into the SDU’s, and they come fitted with ROV Receptacles.
